Riley Fitzgerald

Riley
Riley is the director of Divine Dance Center. She has a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in dance from Radford University. She has studied dance with various professional instructors at Shenandoah University, Radford University, and various dance conventions. Riley has choreographed the opening number for a National Dance Competition and her students have taken many regional and nationals titles. Former students have gone on to pursue careers in the performing arts field and are currently employed by Disney Cruise Lines, NETworks Productions, and other various professional theaters.  Riley is also a sought after judge for regional competitions through out the East Coast. Her background of dance is extensive and she brings this professionalism into the studio by helping each student achieve their goals.

Sammi Rader

Sammi
Sammi Rader has been teaching dance for over 14 years. She holds a Masters Degree from Radford University in Social Work. While attending Radford University, she continued her dance education by taking classes in Modern, Jazz, and Ballet. She has received numerous accolades as a choreographer at both the regional and national level. She was a mentor and volunteer with Dancing with the Valley Stars Fundraiser where her and her partner won top honors. As a dancer, she danced professionally for the Roanoke Steam Arena Football Team and the Roanoke Dazzle NBA Developmental League and danced competitively through high school. Sammi heads up our Hip Hop dance program and can be found teaching combo classes, jazz, contemporary, and choreographing for our competitive dance company. Sammi serves as an Advisory Panel Member and Support Group Specialist for Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD). YPAD’s mission is to keep children happy, healthy, and safe in dance.

Angela Luciani

Angela
Angela holds a Masters of Arts in Dance Education from New York University in New York City. She has been the Dance Director of a private high school for six years and has been teaching in private studio settings for over 12 years. Angela brings an exciting energy to the studio and we are very excited to have her join our staff! You can see Angela teaching many of our tap and jazz classes, along with some of our Preschool and Super Combo classes.

Claudia Anderson

Claudia
Claudia is a graduate of Radford University and an alumni of Divine Dance Center where she was an accomplished and award winning dancer. She has been teaching dance for 8 years and as an instructor, her choreography has been praised at both the regional and national level with choreography awards and overall placements. Aside from dance, Claudia is the Special Event and Volunteer Coordinator at Blue Ridge PBS and is special friends with Pip the fairy giving life tips and tricks to children through Echo, a division of Blue Ridge PBS. Claudia has a knack for connecting with our younger dancers and brings energy and excitement into her classes.
