Sammi Rader
Sammi Rader has been teaching dance for over 14 years. She holds a Masters Degree from Radford University in Social Work. While attending Radford University, she continued her dance education by taking classes in Modern, Jazz, and Ballet. She has received numerous accolades as a choreographer at both the regional and national level. She was a mentor and volunteer with Dancing with the Valley Stars Fundraiser where her and her partner won top honors. As a dancer, she danced professionally for the Roanoke Steam Arena Football Team and the Roanoke Dazzle NBA Developmental League and danced competitively through high school. Sammi heads up our Hip Hop dance program and can be found teaching combo classes, jazz, contemporary, and choreographing for our competitive dance company.
Sammi serves as an Advisory Panel Member and Support Group Specialist for Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD). YPAD’s mission is to keep children happy, healthy, and safe in dance.
